Help with ich

I bought two clownfish today and one of them had a single spot of Ich I don't have any quarantine set up yet but I can get borrow a friends filter for it and copper . I had to put him in my main tank and was wondering if the single ich could reproduce Or spread in my tank In one day ? I only have the 20 gallon tank and a bubbler

Yes, if you had a fish with Ich in your tank regardless of duration, your tank will also have ich. Check out the stickies in this forum for all you need to know about Ich.
