Sorry no pictures, but I saw something weird on the glass in my 'fuge and was wondering if it was good or bad. I've actually seen two....one about a quarter of an inch big, and the other smaller than that. It looks like a shell-less snail, with a forked tail, and a bell like thing for a mouth. It casts it out like a net and then closes it back up. It seems to like to go after the copepods, but there's a lot of algae on the glass too so I couldn't tell which it preferred. Any ideas? I know it's vague, but if someone posted a picture I could definitely tell you if that's it or not.

Amphiscolops. It's a harmless acoel flatworm. They're almost ubiquitous in newer tanks but they tend to fade away over a few years.

You are awesome! I googled an image and that is it. Thanks. My tank has been up for a year and before it was a smaller 55 that was up for 6 years. Had never seen one in that span. Amazing.
