Alien Eye Chalice?

Mike, that chalice looks a great deal like Echinophyllia echinoporoides. Very cool little fella!

Thanks guys ive seen both Echinophyllia echinoporoides and the alien eye and it has similarities to both. That is actually a picture of it when it was in the 90 gallon frag tank. And now it has flattened out and has a nice edge I might try to frag off.

Get a bandsaw! It makes fragging soooo easy! especially with delicates like that guy!

how much are the bandsaws? Ive thought about it before I have the dremel with the diamond saw blade.

I have a pagoda cup that that is now over 12" in diameter.

I assume that You could cut the rim off that using your saw in exchange for a couple of the frags?

Phil, they dont sell that saw anywhere local that I know of. Everyone who I know who has one had to order it online.
