I havea 120 reef with too many tangs in it as it is, blue hippo, yellow, and clown tang. the blue hipp is about 7 inches the yellow maybe 5 and the clown about 4. I alsohave two tru percs a blue line goby and a radiant wrasse. all this in my mostly sps reef. my brother who took his tank down about a yar ago saw a beautiful naso tang at the lfs. immediately I get a phne call asking if he can buy the fish and keep in my tank untill he sets up a ne tank which probably won't happen for years. I sid no way,but he somehow convinced me by saying al the guys at the store said it would be fine. naso tangs r his favorit fish by the way. s about 45 min later he shows up with a 10 inch naso tang. the fish is beautiful with long streemers. the first day the fish ate great and was enen grasing on algea. but yesterday and today barely swims around and won't eat. is this normal for nasos? no other fish bothers him either. how long might it take for him to start swimming around and eating again. I acimated him for about an hour before I aded him and he came from a slightly smaller tank.

I know he is bigger than the clown tang, but those clowns can be down right mean. Also, what are the dimensions of your tank, is it a 4ft 120? If so he doesnt really have much swimming room at 10". Does he have a place to hide or are all of the viable caves taken and protected by other fish?

I am sorry, but you already know you have far to many tangs in your 120. There is no way a 10" naso can be successfully added to an overstocked 120.

You may want to either return him to the store or find a better home for him.

Best of luck getting him out of there though :)
