I just finished reading a book called Reef Aquariums by John H Tullock. He stresses about the use of lime water. My tank has been running for about six months. The rock is starting to turn colors but not all of it is nice and colored. Where it is not purple it has algae growing on it. I use kent marine buffer ab. Should I use limewater. How many people use it and will it hurt anything???What are some precautions?????? I have a yellow tang and about 10 pepermint shrimp ( I did when I let them go in there Have yet to see more than 2). Also have a good size cleaning crew.
