Help with market research

Is there anyone in the club with any experience doing market research? In working on the Frag Swap, I think it would help a great deal if we understood the "average reef enthusiast" -- probably from our local/regional area. If anyone has any experience and would like to help with doing some market research to help out MTRC, let me know.

Ummm... I'm not into market research, but I am a psychologist and do research on people... so I wouldn't mind helping out whoever might have a little more experience in the area. I have some experience developing questionnaires and can definitely handle whatever statistics might need to be run.

I'm assuming you want to develop some kind of questionnaire to give to local people? Maybe offer to share the results in exchange for lfs' letting us set up shop outside their stores?

Your expertise in coming up with questionnaires may be all we really need. I was thinking more along the lines of an email survey than standing in front of the LFSs. I'll send you a PM.
