Just got a Montipora plating coral (green) from a guy that just wanted to give it away (had a huge one and some pieces broke). The coral seems fine and I placed it towards the top of the live rock. It has a dark patch. The person said that was shaded. Wonder if I place it corectly will recover or I have to remove it. Thoughts?
