help with moving green carpet

I have a green carpet that has moved behind my rock work to an area that doesn't get much light if any at all. I was in the process of adding additional rock and it was on the side of the glass till yesterday and now it has attached under a ledge in the rear of the tank. Is there a safe way to make it detach to move it to the top of the new rock work closer to the light.

you can try and slide a finger nail underneath its foot, but you chance damaging it. The best thing to do, is let it be. It will move to where it wants. Just feed it if you can when u normally do, and it will decide where it wants to be!
