Help with MP60wes condition, how to tell?

I have a 2-3 year old Vortech MP60wes. I want to sell it and was going to do so on ebay to get a smaller version (MP10). I had an mp40wes I sold on ebay a couple years ago and it went badly. It was a few years old and it seemingly worked ok for me, but the buyer immediatley emailed me and said the wet side was bad and I refunded him quite a bit of money to fix it. I am hoping to avoid this this time :).

1. How can I test or tell if the wet side is bad?

2. How to tell if the controller or dry side have any issues?

Silly question why don't you try selling it locally?

Yeah selling anything on eBay is very risky as an individual PayPal has buyer protection and they claim to have Seller Protection but there isn't any it's all buyer protection. It doesn't matter what you put in the listing you can sell it as is whatever and the person buying it can say item not as described put a rock in a box and ship it back to you in as long as they provide PayPal with a tracking number they will get a refund. I had a dispute about 6 years ago and I provided PayPal with a tremendous amount of evidence showing that the person was lying and scamming and it didn't matter they got a refund.

I have it on craigslist now, but priced it at $300. What would be a local price that would be a fair to good deal to sell fast?
