Help with new brain placement please?

I just got this nice little guy about a week ago. I placed him in the sand where you see him in the pic. Now he has grown quite a bit, and I think he will run out of room. Do you think it would be OK to move him to the rocks on the left front side of the tank in the second pic? I will move that white piece of rock out of the way, so there will be a flat spot for the brain to sit. Has anyone with a similar specimen had any luck with placement on rock instead of sand? Thanks in advance for any info.

You can place them on the rock if you need to. I have mine on the rock w/ no problems. You do need to consider how much they expand during the day. Make sure its in a spot where it cant fall off or expand until it presses surrounding rock. It will get damaged very easily. If you can't find or make a suitable spot, leave it in the sand. Better safe than sorry.
