Help with new Watanabei Angel with Popeye

I received a 4" female watanabei Angel yesterday.

She has popeye of the left eye. the other looks ok.

Her fins are frayed, but other than that she doesn't look too bad and she is eating some mysid shrimp, but has some difficulty because she can't see out of her left eye.


She is in QT with some cupramine and prazipro.

What else should I do to maximize her chance to survive?

I've allways had good luck using Melifix on bacterial infections and torn fins if the fish is not too far gone. It seems to be mild and works well especially if you want to avoid stronger meds. I don't have much experience treating popeye, but, if it is a bacterial disease it might respond well to melafix marine. I have used the regualar melafix in reef aquariums with no adverse affects to fish, corals, and inverts, so, it is pretty mild, especially the marine version. Good luck with the angel, they are one of my favorite wanna-have-someday fish!
