Hey Roger well i have a 180 SPS tank and have 2 streams the 6100s in there right now, i have a 3rd stream that should be here in about 1 week its also a 6100 and then i have the 7095 muticontroller coming in abotu another 2-3 weeks,

anyway heres where i need you help, i have an aquacaping that is very open and have a SSB, its a 2 island type fo rockwork, where the left island is bigger than the right island and there is an open space inbetween the 2 islands heres a pic,

anyhow as you can see the balck circles are the 6100s, you can see how i am them positioned,

the 2 streams that are on the side glass are about 6 inches below the water, BUT the 3rd stream that i will be putting in is the one in the BACK LEFT CORNER, this one will be placed about 14 inches down in the tank, the tank is 24 inches high, so it will be placed about 1/2 the way down to get the detrius out from underneath the rock work. and give some flow behind the rocks

heres my questions,

1. the 3r stream that i am adding the on in the back left hand corner in the drawing, you can see there is a blue line and a green line, these are both optitions on how i can angle the stream, which one shodl i go with the green line or blue line? basically shoudl i have the stream hit the back glass? or should i have it just flow in a straight line behind the rock and hit the other side glass?

2. which setting shoudl i go with on the New muticontroller 7095? i want alot of flow here and was wondering which optition you thought would be best and why? i want something that will give me flow all over the tank since this is only SPS nothing else they can handle alot of flow!

3. also one more for you do i need to order something special for the muticontroller to control 3 streams? or not?

i have 3 maganet holder too and these things are AWESOME!

i have a mag drive 12 for my return with 2 1" sea swirls too, if that helps at all

thanks again Roger!

The 7095 can handle 4 pumps as delivered I would use one of the Interval modes, you will have to see which one works best for you. As for the direction of the 6100 you are adding that is strictly trial and error aand you will just have to try it and find out.

alright thanks Roger!

can you briefly explain the interval modes to me? i want to get the most out of this product!

thansk again!

Nick

It just alternates which pumps are running, in one of them two of the pumps run and 2 don't or in your case one will run, then 2. In the other Interval mode the pumps idle while 2 pumps pulse, in your case, 2 idling pumps and 1 pulsing pump followed by one idling pump and 2 pulsing pumps.

thanks Roger! which interval is the second choice you were tlaking about, the one with 2 idling pumps and 1 pulsing followed by one idling and 2 pulsing? i think i like that opition best?

thanks again!

Nick

P.S. when do you except the nest shipment to come from germany?

I just got a huge shipment last week, and today I started shipping it out, things are coming in pretty good now. I believe it is called Interval II but it may be Interval I I haven't used a 7095 for several months I had a demo but it had to go to a trade show in Britain and given the shortage I still have not taken one for my tank.

alright great thanks again!

i will have to look when i get it!

i cant wait for Marinedepot to get to me! i am SO close!

thanks again Roger!
