Help with plumbing

I tried posting this in the reef discussion forum under my tank thread but didn't get any replies so I thought you guys in the DIY forum might be of more help.

Here's my plan:

I need to know if it will work, or if there are any problems with it. Are there any ways it can be improved? If not, can you let me know that it is good to go, since I am going to the local hardware store tomorrow to pick up supplies.

I personally would not split the drain that many times. Maybe 2X, one to feed the skimmer, one to feed the main sump area. Then use a T with a couple of ball valves off the return pump to feed the fuge and return to the tank.

Do you mean like this:

I would have thought it was better to put unskimmed water through the fuge though. Is that wrong?
