Help with Putting Together Tunze 9002

I just received the Tunze Nano 9002. It wasn't working properly, and there were no bubbles. The only time I had bubbles was when I took off the top lid. I took it apart to see if there were any issues. Does the green plastic tube connected to the pump go into the black hole on the left side, or does it go into the clear opening that leads straight up to the hole for the collection cup? Thank you so much for your help.

It goes through the black hole on the left side.

The problem is the hose is kinked below the upper lid, pull the hose down from the bottom portion where the pump sits to eliminate any slack in this top chamber.

Thank you. I purchased it from marinedepot, and I guess someone put it together wrong. It seems to be producing a nice amount of skimmate now.

Unfortunately they tend to shake loose in shipping and do generally need some reassembly and adjustment on arrival.
