Advice on a good size for quarantine tank.
I have a bunch of fish in the 100 gal.
1 pink/blue spot goby ( 3-4 inch )
1 Male pink square anthias ( 4 inch )
2 Female Pink Square anthias ( 2 1/2 - 3 inch )
4 1 1/2 false perc's
1 3 inch LMB
1 2 inch NASO
1 2-3 inch FoxFace
1 small 6 line wrasse
I just noticed an outbreak of Ick or MV. Its a full reef with a HOB Fuge with Cheato and Pods.
I did not have the chance the get a QT. ( I know my fault and stupidity ) whats done is done and now need to QT the fish. I cannot use medicines or Hypo the tank since there are bunch of inverts in the tank, shirmp, crabs, corals, anenomes, pods and a sea hare, porcelin's and pistols.
would a 20 gal tank be sufficent as I don't have much space? I was either planning to do Hypo first then if it dosn't work then do a copper treatment. while letting the parasites cycle and die in the main tank.
Tank parameters weren't the best nor the worst.. have been only using DI water.. just got my RO/DI unit a short time ago and haven't had a chance to hook it up and get it running.
your opinions are greatly incouraged.
thanks
