Do u think it could have been caused by a dwarf lion fish or torch coral because its become skittish and its breathing fast

We really need a lot more info. All your water parameters for a start. Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, alk, calc, mag, ph, salinity. Also size of the tank, stock list. Also how long the fish have been in the tank, when was the last fish added, do you QT your fish, etc.

The fish i think is stressed, but without more info we can only take wild guesses.

Last fish was the dwarf lionfish over 2 months ago I have 9 fish in there the copperband and regal are the only large ones my kh is 9.9 nitritevis 0 my nitrate is 0 to 0.25 my ammonia has gone up to between 0.25 and 0.50 my calciums high at 495 but my shops water is high my magnesium is 1400salinity is 1.025 and apart from my torch and montipora going down hill the tanks been fine think the coral problems are due to my t 5s breaking and the tanks on led. One other thing I am getting all my params re tested on Monday by my shop just to be safe cause I'm new to all this. I apreciate any advice or critisism its the best way to learn

I agree that the ammonia is a significant problem. You need to do some water changes to bring the level down and figure out what is causing it. Did another fish or something else die in the tank?

Right thank you all for.the advice the tangs fine now so don't know what tht was about been to lfs and had a retest and sad to say my testkits stopped working my amonia was at 0 but my phophate was at 0.25 and more disturbing my nitrates were at 100 everything else was fine. I got some red sea stuff to bring them down and then .... My protein skimmer decided to break how's that for a bad week. Doing a water change every 4 days now until its fixed. As for my test kit well that been booted a few times

Sounds like a pretty rough week! I also have a blue tang and occasionally he seems to get sick, apparently it is quite normal for these fish. I have found that dosing his food with garlic is a good preventative and also I used eSHA OODINEX when he first joined the tank because he broke out in ich. It's invertebrate friendly and if you're protein skimmer is down, now would be a good time to try it.

I've got the oonidex and the foods garlic enriched fue tang appears to be fine infortunately I did lose my copperband butterfly this morning annoying all this before payday so mental water changes are the way to go
