I need help i keep getting high readings 122 in and out i just got new cartridges and same. Can someone call me and walk me through this please

So i made some water last nite. It was reading 0 qheb i srarted to fill it. Now this morning i test the water i made with the meternand reads 8. Why is this?

It may pick up some TDS from container and stuff settling it. I never test in container for this reason. I test as it comes out of filter. If it's 0 you're good. If you have a hand held meter rinse a clean glass well with fresh RO then refill enough to test. That's how I do it.

Is it normal when you turn on the water the tds meter spikes up on the filtered water?

If you are just turning it on yes stuff settles in unit I always discard the first gallon or so when making water.
