help with scratched glass on the tank

Well i'm about to take the dive again and set up my old JBJ 28g HQI. It's been sitting there for the past year and looking kind of sad. So tonight I filled it up just to see if it had cracked in the move. I'm safe there. But know i remember all the surface scratches it's got. This is where i'm stuck. Does any one know how to polish or can help me polish so I can set it back up. I would more then be happy to compensate you for your time and effort.

As far as I know there is no way to get scratches out of glass, but I could be wrong. That is why I prefer acrylic.

you can get very minor scratches out of glass, it is tedious work though. anything to deep though and your just out of luck

It's surface scratches can't feel them with my nail. I've looked online and found that it can be polished with cirum oxide. Call a few companies but it seems that China has stop the export of this product to North America. So now I'm back to square one. Any ideas

I bought some cerium oxide on ebay, and it was pretty cheap - under $20. I haven't tried using it yet though, so I can't tell you if it works.
