Help with skimmer please

I just bought a Euro rs 80 skimmer and cant seem to get rid of the micro bubbles in the tank. Been adjusting it for hours.Anyone have this problem or have any suggestions?Thx..

I had this very same problem when I first set up my RS 135. Found out that there was too much "foaming" agents in my water. Once I let the Novaqua and Amquel work itself out of the water, all was good.

Also, you need to check to see how much of the skimmer is actually out of the water in the sump.

Make sure you have the foam sleeve pulled up high on the output.

Thanks Kyle, Hoping thats what my problem is. I have 2 filters running now with carbon to see if thats whats happening.The Rs 80 doesnt come with the foam sleeve.I have my output out of the water now just draining on wall of sump,helped a little.Thinking about making a sleeve.Thanks for your input.

Let the skimmer break in first and than you will see a decrease in the amount of micro-bubbles leaving the skimmer body.
