Help with SPS color

Just to give an update, some corals are starting to color back up. Still trying to raise Nitrates up to about 1-2ppm. Struggling to get it above .5ppm. Been dosing Red Sea Energy A&B to feed corals. Amazing stuff works great. Incredible PE after adding it to the tank. Been cutting off powerheads and forming a cloud of A&B around each coral. I will take some pictures as soon as I get the chance.

Glad you are getting some color back! I'm having the same issues with nitrates. I can't get them over 0 (from API test) and my phosphates are now reaching past 0.06. It's a hard balance to maintain. My next step is to get a better nitrate test kit. Any suggestions on what brand? Something with ease of use and accuracy.

I need some suggesting on how to raise Nitrates. I am trying to get them to 1-2ppm and I can't get the above .5-.75 and now they have dropped back to .25. PO4 is at .06 if it gets to .08 I will crank the GFO back up at 1/2 the recommended dose. I am over feeding like crazy. I am feeding everyday 1 cube of either brine, mysis, clams, etc and either a cube of rotifers or a spoon of reef chili.

Will that raise nitrates?
It has amino acids in it,so yes it will raise nitrates.Really a great product for low nutrient tanks like yours.Turn off your skimmer for a few hours when you dose it.I like to stay home once I turn skimmer back on to make sure it does not overflow.Your phos is starting to rise,I would run a little gfo after you dose also.

I have been adding Amino Acids through Red Sea Energy A&B but might have to try the Prodibio Reef Booster one weekend i am home.
I been in the same place you are right now. Shorten your full day lighting way down for now,until you see a change.You can run your supplement blue lights for 8-9 hours,but I would cut day light down to 4 hours for now. Do the reef booster every week. Feed some Rods food original blend 3-4 times a week.

It's not a red bug problem I had just finished feeding Red Sea Energy A&B and mixed in some frozen Cyclops Eeze. Thats the red you are seeing.

It is kind of hard to tell from the pictures, but if you blow up the second picture of the acro, it certainly looks a lot like a red bug, and not a cyclopeeze. cyclopeeze are completely red, body and all.
There are at least 3 "something" on the second coral, and they have red heads and yellow bodies.

Its not red bug, I have speny hours watching and looking for them or any other. When I feed the Cyclops there are some that are red and some that are clear. If you have ever used Energy A&B its very yellow and stains anything it touches so that is likley what you are seeing. I will keep watching for them
I agree. That second pic you posted looks like red bugs to me. Maybe pull out that frag and do a dip with Bayer.
