Hello! I've got a biocube 29 reef with
2x occ clownfish
1x bangaii cardinal
1x cherub angel

These fish are mostly open swimmers. I'd really like a small blenny or goby to occupy the bottom. Is 5 fish too much for a 29? I have an aquatic life 115 skimmer and my nitrates stay under 5ppm. I do a 10% PWC every 3 weeks to a month and nitrates don't go over 5. I have a nice fuge that allows me to feed heavy also.

So should i do it?

Thanks!!!!:dance::dance:

Go for it, a small goby isnt going to change much. If you get a sand sifter (diamond) goby you will actually be helping the tank lol

At the shop i work at we do tank service, one office had a 14g oceanic biocube with 6 fish (2 clowns, 1 pj card, 1 spotted mandarin, 1 fire fish, & 1 pygmy angel.) and we did her water changes every 2-3 weeks

A neon goby perhaps, or Hector's Goby I have both in a 40g Long. The Hector's is always busy and they don't get big.

I know you already have the angel which can nip but if you want corals down the road, you may want to avoid the bi-color and consider a tailspot instead. Love blennies but it's tough to be a watchment goby/pistol pair.

Yeah I keep Sps and lps ATM. Bicolor bennies nip? I had a YWG at one point. It wasn't active enough for me. Are there any safe bennies?
