help with sump design

well i dont have a drilled tank. and im going to use an overflow box. im going to be using a 20g tank as my sump. and a rio 1100 as a return pump. does anyone have designs for the layout of stuff in the sump ??

what all needs to be in a sump? ill be putting my skimmer, and heater in there but what else? i put baffels in already and its a 10 gal sump for a 30 gal display.

From RIGHT to left -- inflow/skimmer section - baffles - little fuge section - return/carbon shelf section.
