help with upgrade

well it coming up on upgrade time again :celeb3:

im getting a 120 center overflow 48x2x2 tank
i either want to buy new reflectors for my mh's
or go with leds, still unsure of leds, for sps tanks

so im asking for any suggestions

Hi - I setup a nano tank with great reflectors on a nice MH setup only to watch the tank water increase in temp throughout the day. Luckily I hadn't stocked the tank yet!

Decided to go with LEDs from AquaIllumination. Of course, even for my 35G nano I needed 2 of the modules (now called AI SOL).

I loved the AI LED units because they generated practically no heat and were whisper silent plus they did not consume much electricity. The only downside were the up-front costs of the two units.

heat is not a issue for me
my current mh's are 4'' from the water and temp stays at 77

i put a 12'' fan next to my light and have it come on with the mh's

okay after tooking at funds for this project i've decided to go with my mh's

any suggestions on a canopy mounted reflector for 250w hqi
