They were probably injured or shocked with changes.
It doesn't look like they have any infection.
The purple marks on that polyp at the front could be an injure.
Make sure there are no predators in the tank. Check also at night.
Once they begin to open they normally do fine.
Just give them some time and avoid moving them around.
Look like they were probably collected in the wild and therefore sometimes they take longer to open and adapt to captivity.
I like those.

Thank you do you know what these are called? There are some brown ones on here also they just havent opened.. Your probably right about being injured, I must of moved them at least ten times and the snails seem to ALWAYS knock them over.. lol Any suggestions on how to keep them upright im all open for...

In my experience with zoas if they are closed like that then they aren't happy where they are. Moving them and bumps & bruises from falls will cause them to close for a bit but not for this long. My purple death polys did the same thing. I suggest moving them up for a bit more light and make sure they have decent flow. Wedge them in a spot or epoxy/super glue gel them if you're worried about falls. Give them a week and they should all be opened up.

You're welcome. I don't pay too much attention to the usual names out there, I'm sorry. I believe in the future I should try, but I just don't feel like.

Like I've said before, I wouldn't move it around. After all the polyps are open let it rest for a week then you can decide where do you want them to stay. Basically almost all zoanthids can adapt really well to captivity conditions and, when done properly, it shouldn't be a problem. Just take your time and let them do their thing first. If you want to move them try to bring them slowly to the final spot and make sure you fix them to avoid future injuries (epoxy or Super Glue Gel). Have fun!

I did that yesterday and moved them up to the top and at least 8 of them are open now... :) Do they stay small or do they expand like other corals?
