Help! Zoa Spiders

Its having looked in my tank after dark I have zoa spiders :eek2: I'm gonna have to setup a QT & dip them, but not having had a QT before what do i need just to keep corals in it? heat/light/water movement some sort of filtration?

Also anybody know the life cycle of these spiders? with no food how long will they live in my main tank before I can put all my zoa's back in please?

Do they lay eggs or give birth to live offspring???

Cheers Shelton.

I found 2 of these today after dipping a new zoa. Just used the regular 10:1 RODI to hydrogen peroxide solution and let them sit for 10 mins. It seems like a much simpler route than a QT.

The trouble is thats what I did when the corals arrived, it seems I didn't kill them all & now they are munching their way through my zoa collection :(

The ones I found last night were about 2mm across thats all! they were out after all lights out....

As said above, NO zoa has been put in my tank without a dip first, so atleast 1 must have survived that when I put this last lot of Zoa's in 3 months ago approx??

Cheers Shelton.
