Help Zoas Not Happy

I have a 45 gallon reef tank and it has been up for about a year and been doing great nearly the entire time. all of a sudden my zoas (all of them) are all half closed. All of the other corals are wide open besides my pipe organ. Everything else, kenya tree, leather, galaxea, star polyps, all doing great but do sometimes release some slime. I am not sure if this slime is from them or something else but They are occasionally covered in it even while open. What could be creating this issue. I have recently added a BTA but its doing great and not touching any other corals. I did have a Condylactics anemone in there but i just took it out. The issues started probably 3 weeks ago now. I had added some new zoas and the bubble tip and then it started. I took the new zoas out and put them in a new tank and they are doing great now. Any ideas would be more than helpful.
