Help!!!!

Sirs,

I went about cleaning my Tunze which I purchased @ 6 months ago from Salty Critter,
and as I removed the outsided vented housing to get to the shaft, I noticed a whole about 1/4*1/8 under housing. It is the start of a crack. This is not normal.

What should I do? This unit is under warrantee. It is a Turbelle Stream 6100.

Please respond ASAP. I cannot put this back in my tank. Therefore, my tank is suffering with out its needed circulation.

I just noticed a brand new 6100 I have not installed yet has the stame weird cracked cutout. Is this normal?

? Photos? If a brand new one has it I assume it is normal and if it worked before why can't you use it?

Because both have it. It is a weird jagged hole

I can only assume you are talking about the bush bearing which has a zig zag pattern in it since it is a braking surface.
