Help!!

I just got a huge order of snails. Put them in the tank and my pink spotted goby is putting the dwarf ceriths in his mouth and bringing them into his layer. Will he eat them??

I highly doubt it gobys are known for moving things around living or not. I think he didn't like the feng shui of the tank and was trying to improve it.

I agree. Their jaws aren't really adapted to eat snails.

I wouldn't worry too much.

:lol: I love gobies!! Got to love industrious fish! The ceriths will leave once the goby puts them back down.

I've had a crummy day but now I'm chuckling while envisioning your pink goby carrying his little snails all over your tank. :lol:

I saw a video posted by a fellow RC'er last week. A goby was moving around hermit crabs near his lair. Still laugh when I think about it!

I have heard of some bringing snails for their buddy shrimp to snack on. you should've gotten the camera out so we can all have a laugh at this cute goby.

He doesnt have a symbiotic thank god. Otherwise that sound you here is my money going down the drain.
