I have a M. Setosa that turned white but still alive could see where the color was and polyps still there but closed.

My ATO Kalk mix ran out while at work about 10pm and I shut it off via apex so I can fill up in the morning. I got to the tank and Setosa lost it's vivid orange color! It was a fast grower got it as a 1/2" frag 2 months ago and got to about probbly 15" round and nice big branching.
I should add every thing else looks amazing best polyp
Extension.

Last night ph was at 9.39 the chart did not show a rapid change stayed about steady slowly dropping.

Tested before adding anything here my
Chemistry:
Alk 9.1
Mag 1280
Cal 405
Ph 9.05

Tonight it's at 9.12

1/2" to 15" in two months? I want to see pics of that. I also do not think you pH is really that high your fish would be very stressed at best. How did running out of Kalk raise your pH? Do you mean it dosed it all at once? At this point a 20-40% water change would be your best bet. M. Satosa can be finiky but they are very hardy. Maintain you water parameters and it should bounce back.

Smh it was late that I posted this ph was at 8.39 while it finished up the container.
After that was just a steady decrease in ph going to 8.05
Idk where I got 9 from... So yeah 8

Temp was normal 80

Yes all my corals took off like crazy but the seritosa was out growing the Forest fire digi right beside it. I could not belive how I was growing so fast.
Lots of things changes recently so I can't exactly say what's helping but changed fixtures from Kessil to hydra 52 Been doing weekly water chang, adding acro power, feeding friends coral food he makes.

I want to know what did you do before the two months that got the setosa from 1/2" to 15"

Changed lights to hydra52 added acro power weekly water change with salinity.
Got some new coral food that a friend makes.

Honestly way too many things changed but all the corals have good growth but odd how that one got so big compared to when I got the frag from NVR swap it's total 6" diameter then branching out another 2-3" each of the branches.

Lots of people, including me are seeing good things from acro power. I would say it's a combo of things for you.

Yep so at it out. I'm going to pick up the Acro power this weekend and give it a shot.
