My anemone is getting huge and crowding out my other anemone. Here are some pics. Can I move it and how do I get it off the rock? Sorry I am new and do not know proper names. uploadfromtaptalk1412555166928.jpguploadfromtaptalk1412555207463.jpg

You have a LTA (M. doreensis). He is an anemone that like to burry his foot in the sand. We call them one of the sand bed anemones. If he doesn't have sand, he will make do with the rock but you need to add about 3 inches of sand to the tank if you want to make him happy.
The small anemone is a S. tapetum, Mini carpet the Maxi variety (there is a mini and micro variety also). he will be fine. He just move if he is shaded by the larger anemone. They my sting each other if they touch.

I suggest you not try to remove either from the rock. If the small carpet is not happy it will relocate. If the rock the small one is on can be moved, then that you can just move the rock/anemone somewhere away from the large one.

Is the large anemone attached to the rock? If so, that is more common with H. crispa. Happen to have any pics that show the column (underside from the tentacles)?
