How long have you had it? what lights? Water params? Judging from the pic the tank doesn’t look to be in the best shape.

If you're not using RoDi, it's the water and the dissolved chemicals in it. Even if you're using tap water for the top offs. The only time I've ever had success using tap water was when it was from well water.

That's good. Anemones on those way out will often deflate/gape then inflate then deflate; rinse and repeat. Not saying that's the case at all here though. It does look like he's had a bleaching episode. I think you'll see a big improvement over all after you've been using Ro water for a while. What kind of lights are you running?
