Help!!!

Something went wrong last night with the G.smithii, i dont know what but when i turned on the tank light he was stuck to the intake of the power head, and the thing had no strainer on the intake, luckly he was a little bigger than the intake of the power head. Will my little guy be ok? he freaked out when i turned the power head off and ran to the other side of the tank. Im worried that some damage might have been caused an he might die. If he walked away fine should he be ok?

just keep checking on him and keep him well fed so he won't go too stressed out

I've had them sucked all the way into the hose and get stuck at the connection to the pump - sort of like the old silent movie serials on the belt leading to the buzz-saw. They usually make it.

thanks guys, he seems to be doing fine, eating frozen myis and poking his eyes out of his cave, he just seems freaked out.

I had squirtle get sucked up into the HOB filter on my tank. I have no idea how long he was at the bend in the intake but like your when I freed him he had no interest in hanging out in the same area. He is fine and is now big enough that he can't get sucked up anymore.
