My clown fish are laying eggs on my glass and eating them are they stupid or just hungry?

First spawn?
Up the feedings with cyclopeeze, PE mysis, Spirulina flakes. Feed them at least once a day to saturation + two more feedings. Three feedings a day minimum is recommended.
Place a tile or a flower pot near the nest site.

They will get better at tending the nest with time.
