Last night i couldn't find my Kole Tang. I finally found him at he back of the tank in some rocks and I thought he was dead. I tried to get him out and he started swimming around a little. Well this morning he was DOA. I had him for about a month. The other fish in the tank are fine (clown, CB, Scooter Blenny, Flamehawk and Lawnmower Blenny.) Early yesterday he was swimming around like usual and eating.

Parameters:
Sal: 36/1.027
pH: 8.4
Amm: 0
Trites: 0
Trates: 15
Temp:79
90g Reef

I don't know if this link will work, but if you are willing to help me figure this out, I know I can email a picture. I don't know if the loss of color is related to illness or if that just happens after death.

Please help--I don't want to lose anyone else.

Thanks
Claire

Sometimes fish just die for no apparant reason. Just observe your other fish for unusual behavior. It is always best to quarantine new fish for at least a month. Wait a month before replacing him to make sure everything is okay. I couldn't tell anything from the picture.
