Help !!!!

I currently have a crush coral sand bed. I want to change it to live white sand.... How can I do this? this tank had been up and running for about 2 years, I have a clarkii clown, 3 damsels, 6 pieces of LR. So can anyone tell me how to change the sand bed effectively without killing anything, thanks in advance

I'm in the process of doing this right now. I'm taking the "slow and easy" approach. With each water change, I siphon out crushed coral until the amount of water in the bucket equals the amount of new water made up. Eventually I'll have removed as much of the CC as I can reach with a hose, at which point I'll begin to fill in sand. A tip for adding sand that I saw here on RC was to fashion a funnel and hose to deliver the sand to the bottom for less disturbance or cloudiness.

should I just take out the whole CC bed at one time and then make a full water change and then add the sand with a hose

i would do like half each time. you will get some mixing, but it will be minimal.
