Hendersons 300 gallon build thread "new"

Ok I decided 6 months ago to build an inwall unit in my basement next to my bar.....I started from scratch and all I wanted was a inwall aquaruim not knowing a thing about salt water...I did have a 55 salt but never knew you where suppose to do water changes....so everything eventually died....I have been doing alot of reading and Im starting to learn a little bit about reefing...we absolutely love our tank & its now a big part of our house...

I kinda rushed things I bought a few damsels and a few clowns...

but 6 months later they are still in the tank...


we have added a few pieces of equipement here is a lit:

-we have 2 250 gallon coralife skimmers
-1/4 hp chiller
-ph phrobe
-salinity phrobe
-temp phrobe
we have added a 60 gallon refugium host to alot of cheatomorpha
we drip kalkweiser 24/7 by the way of a drip meathod

we have 4 seio 2500 for flow in the tank...

ok here is a few things in the tank everything is growing really well....alot of frags for a new tank....

fish list:

I really like tangs...lol I know...

2 yellow tangs...1 is 9"
1 Sohal tang 10"
1 powder blue tang 8"
1 nice naso tang 8'
a few damsels of various colors
a few clowns
a tomato

and few more I cant think of

we have alot of inverts also...anyway here is a few pics...it will explain better than I can tell you....lol

I love reefing....we are in the process of instaliing a frag tank...I think until I get alot of my coral to grow...Im gonna make it a seahorse tank...it will have t-5's & halides on it...24 gallon nano tank...it will be behind the 300 gallon and made into a wall also....Ill post pics later....they are building it today!!!

You the Henderson of Henderson's Racing Pigs? They come by our county fair every year but the last one. Their pig races were the funniest things at the fair.
