It is not entirely reef safe and might pick on certain corals and clams. Another problem is telling diphreutes apart from acuminatus. If you end up with an acuminatus you can be sure your corals will get eaten eventually.
If you are thinking about getting it for your 55 gallon, your tank is nowhere near big enough for a heniochus.
I too would agree that a 55 is too small. I have one in a 110 and it's too small. The thing grows 3X faster than any other fish in there! Luckily a local club member has a 300g I can dump him into.
