Heniochus diphreutes?

Has anyone kept them long term in a mixed reef? Everything I have read says they are supposed to be reef safe but have not read any first hand accounts. The closest I've read is that they were safe, but then went carpet surfing before the year was up.

Anyone out there have had a single or even small school for 2 plus years?

Thinking of getting a couple for my 225 mixed reef.

Thanks for the help.

Don't have any personal experience with them, what I can tell you is they get big and if underfed would likely cause issues in a reef. They are delicate shippers, hence why most places just offer live arrive. If you can get some that were shipped to a LFS and eating you should be fine. Carpet surfing is a product of poor tank management, people have thousands of $$$ in livestock but not a 20$ net to keep them off the floor... Seem silly

Thanks for the tips. Got the food.part down. Auto feeder for several small portions throughout the day. and frozen once when I get home. Also have 1/4 inch mesh covers. Will probably try documenting my progress if I don't get much info.
