So my wife just called. As she was coming down the stairs she saw our new kitten Gary staring into my refugium. The cat turned to look at her, and as he looked back at the tank one quick paw swipe and my Saddleback Clown went airborn onto the living room floor!

Aimee ran down, scooped up the clown, before he became a snack, and put him back in the fuge. I'm still at work, but she says he looks just fine.

Thank you honey for your quick reflexes.

(I had just put the clown in my fuge last night because I'm moving my expansion tank again)

sounds like you need some egg crate on top and a small brick to keep the cat out.

Yes, my plan was to put him in the sump when I got home, but I found some pieces of half inch acrylic, previously used for sump baffles, to throw on the top temporarily.

My wife's cat does NOT like it when I put her in the sump, so I'd suggest not doing that. :clown:
