Once again, thanks Loc01 for the effort.

You are welcomed. That looks very nice(good job Yinger). Anyway it's still much nicer in person. Hey I took the 90 off and mount the pumps shoot straight in the chamber it works a lot better now, maybe I should video mine and post it next to yours. How about that?

I don't know if you built that or loc, but props to the person who built it. Very good work.

I did not claim i built that skimmer. Loc01 is the Handy man. I can't even draw a straight line :). But it was my ideal to built it that way. No worry, i am not fighting f0r my props. I just sit back and enjoy the benefit. hahahahaha

Loc, you should post some pics of your skimmer and a video.

holy crap. how much did the pumps cost?

Pumps is 300 bucks each 620 including shipping.

Compare to Deltec Protein skimmer replace pump eheim 550 bucks a pop. What is the different? Deltec use router to make the face plate bigger. H&S Eheim is special made (molded) no router action on it. No different in performance :). I am happy with what i have.

Nice setup! I'm thinking of a custom skimmer as well. Do you know how much lpm of air you are getting on each Eheim's venturi air intake?

I'm the one you ran into Marine Depot will call the other day. Hope you did not break any more bulbs

Thanks SPS_addict.

Cthetoy, each pump pulling between 15-17lpm. I already learn my lesson, no more broken bulb. It worthies to spend a little more but you will safe on electricity, noise and bubble quality.

Hey Steve, how did you post a direct video to your post that makes the video running?

Yinger load it up to my photobucket so i just cut and paste into the thread. You know i am not good with computer.

By the way, your protein skimmer working much better now. Congrats. other people think we are crazy or may be stupid but i think it work really well.

i dont think your stupid or crazy. if i had that kinda money id have a skimmer like that... i think it would be a littl overkill for me though... lol
