Thanks, it's a beauty. Alas no Starfire glass but I'm ok without.I like the dimensions of the tank.
The tank is 48x24x24. I do plan on covering the sump and Adding a door. Going to take exact measurements and either goto home depot or IKEA and start looking at cabinetry doors and frames. I'm planing in building out the existing metal stand with a wood cladding. What are the tank dimensions? Are you going to cover the sump?
Yes it is, I picked up a nice piece of sanded plywood at Home Depot. Didnt want the stand on the laminated flooring. My next step will be to cover the stand with either a sliding door or cabinet style. Is the stand on plywood?
The 48x24x24 has always been my favorite size even though I've never had the opportunity to run one myself. Good luck!
I'm running a maxspect razor 120w and a 160w 16000k side by side. The light bar has two drilled holes that I am able to adjust. It is also possible to drill addition holes if I need further adjustment. I am able to fine tune the LED's height with the light hangers as well. What lights are you running? Is the light bar able to adjust up and down or just the lights?
It's all built in, don't need to hook up to apex. Actually i dont think it's even possible to connect to apex with maxspect LED's. I do really like them so far. Not as expensive as Radion's.Nice, do they have a ramp up and down mode built in, or is that what the Apex is for. I'm upgrading my tank soon and I looking into what lights I want to throw in.

Yes they do! And various presets to ramp up and down the lights.nice, so they do have a 24 hour mode, with sunrise and sunset?
