Here we go again, FWC on Coral frags via craigslist

I didn't read the whole article, but I know from experience that I teen posting on Craigslist and when I dial the number it is someone from this forum and the posting is always there. If you're just trimming it's not gonna always be there. The person I'm referring to is there on top more than reef Gardner but reef Gardner is actually licensed.

Do they list a location? I am not sure which poster you are referring to.

Why not the train of though that the people nailed were actually illegally selling animals that are regulated instead of jumping the gun and trying to say they are hobbiests?

From my experience with them, FWC has always done a great job making sure they have their ducks in a row (no pun intended) prior to making a move to enforce wildlife laws.

Are you saying that the Hallandale Beach man is from this forum or is it just someone else that you see on CL often?

I am not typically on craigslist ,but this post got me curious? So I went looking for who we might know from this forum or our local club. I also wanted to feel like a junky cop, and do the work of the FWC without the facts and knowledge they had. Seems like a lot of people like to speculate and create stories without knowing the details. The first thing I noticed is no one on cl list there name, individual or corporate. Just a phone number? There was only one that listed themselves as a retail operation. Even the top notch vendor reefgardner did not post their name, but you can tell from the pics that's who it might be? No one mentioned if they had a license or not? So I could only speculate and point fingers as to who was legit or not based on the quality of their ad or pic or coral type. But like many of us I am sure my speculation and quessing only led to wrongful conclusions. The only one that has a right to ask for appropriate licenses is the FWC!!! Not me, you, or another vendor who doesn't like competitors? I agree with what was stated.....If the FWC went this far it was probably not a minor crossing the line from hobbiest to commercial but something much bigger. None of us know what really happened here, at least not me. But what if this person was selling locally caught stuff without the proper paperwork to poach? Raiding our reefs should come with strong penalties! So aqain thankyou FWC. The main point is lets not speculate and point fingers without really knowing who has licenses or not? Ore who is selling legal or illegal stuff. Not our place to do that. Let the man do that, it their job, not ours. Otherwise we end up fabricating stories about people we don't know much about, and spreading the rumors on threads like these. I call that a wanna be cop or cop junky. Back to the clear glass.....no not the aquarium....the cocktail!!
