So for those that want to know Im in. Like it or lump it that's what's happening. I'm sitting here with Mike Martinez & we've been talking over a few things. The club is gonna go in a positive direction, I will get with the other board members in the next day or so or they can call me when they read this if it isn't to late.

First there will be a equipment purchase for basic emergency necessitys made. It will be voted on but I don't see a problem there as far as it passing.

Second- All meetings & scheduled trips & activities will be handled by Gabberjaw which she already does & does it very well. I'm being honest here Dont expect me at every meeting. I do have a family & a life. I'll be at the meetings I can attend. If you can't be at every meeting don't expect me to either.

Third- As far as club money goes. The bulk is tied up in a CD if I'm not mistaken it comes due either Oct or Nov & no it's not gonna be taken out early. If your a paid member with concerns either contact Justin or myself.

This group of people is made up of a bunch of different personalities & backgrounds & we can't please everyone all the time. Yes I admit I took a hiatus & I said why. Some of you have expressed your thoughts as well. You voted me to run this so guess what now you got it. If you don't like it or have second thoughts then vote me out. I'm just being upfront & straightforward.

Feel free to post your thoughts. Trust my feelings aren't gonna be hurt.

What do the bylaws call for now, And how long has this been in effect with no notification of members of the changes to the BOD?
Or was there a statement on the club site that i missed?

Well, I haven't seen Jason but I believe Zef has been in contact. Zef has been carrying duties. I defer Zef for any details as I do not know anything first hand. There has been no formal anything..we are just moving on and getting things done as a board..mainly planning the events which have been posted. Swap planning is starting and the focus of the next club meeting, which was discussed at the last meeting.

The by laws do account for absence of the president. The VP would take over. I just do not know Jason's intentions here but do know Zef has been acting as prez in Jason's absence.

I was going post something up tomorrow. Jason two Sunday ago step down as president I was trying to give him time to post something. But we can see he hasn't or took part of any meeting other then the 1st meeting. Which I was not able to make but been to everyone sence. He has to much going on in his life(family,work,and working on his house). I'll let him tell the rest.

As for the bylaws go I'll let Andy post. He's good on finding them. But for past 3 months or more I've been doing my part And feeling as an acting president.

So far I have most of the club equipment mike never had the chance to hand it over to Jason. I been trying hunt mike down for a week but got ahold of him monday. So as we all know mike house got flooded in May and some stuff got miss placed he still have glass drill bits and the old parameter which I have the new one and 6 sucation cups. He said if he can't find them he will replace it. I wish both of them the best of luck. So if anyone needs to use club equipment just pm me same rules as mike had one week top and comes back to me not the next person inline.

For club on track I think we are doing fine even with Jason being MIA. Leah been planing meeting and trying to have get togathers like this months BBQ,sleepover at TA so for Andy he is takeing care of the websit and doing a good job at it. And help me out. Justin keeping me updated on the clubs money. And for me starting on the swap already got some donation. I think the next meeting we will be looking for some input on what type of speaker and what you member like to see at the swap.

Zef if Mike is missing anything or it is damaged from the flood I dont think he should have to replace it. The club should just eat it and buy new equipment.

My opinion (for whatever it's worth) is not so much needing bod replacement as needing help from members....even with 2 more bod it is still needed to have members help do the work. This is why we asked at the last meeting for folks to mull over ideas and bring them to the picnic, and just brainstorm and gain some focus. This will hopefully give us the direction and a plan can be created.

As far as the by-laws, if the president misses 3 consecutive meetings and is not around, then the vp automatically steps into the role as acting prez for the remainder of the year. Just as a reminder, the by-laws are posted on the club website so that any member can read them. The is a link off the home page on the left side :wave:
