Great to hear....my tank broke on Sunday so I had to scramble fast to order one. I stumbled onto the CAD, sort of out of luck, it just seems like a great deal and tank...checked all of the boxes for me!!

Does this ship from you or from the manufacturer? I ask because I am curious how they ship these tanks....scary thought to me!!

I purchased a CAD Versa 60 about a month ago, directly from Cadlights (you weren't selling it at time) it came on a pallet everything was in great shape. Actually easier than trying to get it home from LFS. The tank is beautiful. I do find the pump that came with it somewhat inadequate and I am thinking about replacing it with a Sicce 2.0. Do you folks at Marine Depot think that would work well?

Yeah, the pump was my only concern...I like my mag 7....I wonder if I can get it to work with it?

edit: ohhh I see mag 7 is 1/2 output....should work

Hi ser-renely, the CAD Lights aquariums do ship from CAD Lights directly on a pallet. As it is transported only once and is not subject to the same rough handling as smaller packages, the aquariums almost always arrive in great shape. It is indeed a beautiful tank as beancounter04 noted. We have the 70-gallon Artisan II here at the office and have been very happy with it.

Upgrading the pump to either the Sicce 2.0 or Mag 7 would be just fine. The Sicce pump has an adjustment on the inlet so you can easily change the flow rate if necessary. For the Mag 7, we would recommend installing a ball valve inline so you can control the flow rate.

I have a ball valve attached to my mag 7...just have to remember how I hodge-podged plumbed it. dear me.

Dumb question. How can I figure out the hosing size I have now?

Many plumbing parts of have the sizing printed on the part. The other option is to measure the inside diameter of the vinyl tubing you currently have.

The Sicce 2.0 was not enough. It is just a trickle, maybe 50 gallons an hour. I was hoping for more. I called this morning but since I put it in the water you can't take it back. Maybe I can find a local buyer. Using the head loss calculator I thought it would work. I will have to think about the 3.0

We are unable to take back used items because we need to make sure all the items we ship to our customers are 100% new and unused. However, we will be happy to make an exception in this case.
