My blue-legged hermit crab is acting very strange! I found him upside down beside the hammerhead coral a few days ago. He was moving, but didn't seem to be able to turn himself over...it was like he was paralyzed. I turned him over and moved him away, but he ended up on his shell again. Turned him over again and he has stayed right side up but is not moving very fast. He is moving better now after a couple of days than he was, but he's still nowhere near where he was before this happened. He has also lost his large claw (I think the same time I found him the first time upside down). He seems to be eating, but is staying in one corner of the tank not able to move easily.
Do you think he was stung by the hammerhead coral or something? Or would losing his claw do this to him? Do you think he's okay?
