hermit crabs and clams

Will blue legged hermit crabs bother a crocea clam? I'd like to get one, but I'm worried about the hermits picking at it.

blue legs are reef safe i have 100 at least and they never messed with my clams good luck.

Hermits will never bother a clam unless the clam is dying.
