hermit crabs

can anyone advise me on the best conditions for hermit crabs because i have had 3 of them die within a week 2 of them lokked fine for days then just died. my salinity and tests are all fine and my turbo snail and 2 cleaner shrimp are both doing great. i dont no what to do?

Did you acclimate them properly? Do you have some mantis shrimp lingering around?

no i didnt climate them the same as my shrimp i dont know anyone who has climated them? no i dont have a mantis shrimp but i did find a little grey crab today and i have no idea what it is? its hard to get a clear pic of it too?

Are you sure their dead, or are you finding their molts?

i found its molt thank you for your help the other 2 did dye but it may have been due to not climatisation so i will climatise everything from now on.

Definately acclimate everything you put in your tank!!!!! I see your new to the hobby, keep asking questions, and do plenty of research. Heres a few helpful links:
