hermits in a BB?

is it ok to have various hermits in a BB tank?

also how many of which type should i put in a 75g tank?
this will be a mixed reef with sps, lps and softies(clams as well)

if its possible, which are the best type that wont bother anything...least agressive...best cleaner?

Hermit crabs usually will kill snails and small crustaceans, but other than that, should be fine in your tank. The scarlet hermits are said to be more peaceful, but I don't really put much faith in that. You don't really need any: other animals can do the cleanup, but you could put one or two in the tank to watch. If you're willing to target-feed or have a lot of leftover fish food, more would probably work.

yea i agree with you now that i think about it more.

im just going to go with snails and shrimps for the 75's clean-up.
