So the guy kept saying GBTA but based on what I saw I said Ritteri. Its purple with neon green tips.

So I thought I would ask. Which is it?

Thanks

it's not a bta. also what lights do you have on your tank? it looks like a bio-cube. and if you have the stock lights a ritteri wouldn't survive under them.

Thanks for the identifications!

its a BC29 with the nanotuners upgrade. This tank is being collapsed into the 60gallon shortly with t5 and MH lights as well.

I've got an H.magnifica, and I think you've got a GBTA....

Really need to see pics of the oral disc to be sure....

It's a bta. You bought it from my friend and I was with him when he bought it from the store with bubble tips. It's not a mag, it's a bta

i've never seen a bta with bright green tips. or a bta with tentacles that look like that.

its called a green bubble tip anemone.. there are also rose colored, and brown colored... its an Entacmae Quadricolor. no question

i know what a gbta is....-_-... gbta are usually all green. this one has brown tentacles with neon green tips. just like an H. magnifica would have. i have 2 rbta and they are solid rose/red....no diff. color tips.

I agree with fishkid, I have never seen E. quadricolor with that coloration but have seen many mags that do. Do you have a pic of yours Donmagic22?

Would also like to see a pic of the mouth of the OP's nem.

My vote BTA I have seen hundreds with green neon tips imported here in Thailand, and in the wild, also there seems to be evidence of a lighter area just below some of the green tips, this hints at the area where the bubbles may be formed.
The rim of the oral disk also says BTA to me.
