Hey Bertoni!! Need An Opinion

I just want a second opinion before i decide one way or another. I was told that the 250 mh and 110 watts of pc i have are enough. I want to keep corals like gemmifera and other light freaks in the lower third of a 24" tall 60 gallon cube. I want to create a reef flat type environment. I want to go with a 400 or a 1000 but others believe that is overkill. I do not want to have corals any higher in the tank than half way but still want them to get plenty of light.

What would you do if you were creating a reef flat environment in a 60 gallon cube???

go with about 8+ watts per gallon of MH and PC combo....

Then put it together how you feels fit....

It's not that i don't care for any other's advice, i just like to hear what bertoni has to say on the subject, that's all. I'd love to hear from anybody who knows of what i am trying to achieve and has ideas on how to go about it. So, the invitation is open. Have at'er guys & gals!

I'm not very knowledgeable about high light corals, so I'd defer to the coral forum on this one.
